Children Sessions
These sessions are very special to me ~ they're not the standard style portraits that children's photography is traditionally about, but something more bespoke and unique. This is where time is really taken to focus on capturing their inner beauty and soul to create pure and ethereal portraits that will become your family's heirloom pieces. I strive to capture much more than a portrait here, and time is allowed for this to happen.

With gentle direction and beautiful lighting I aim to connect and photograph from the heart, and show the connection from your child to the image recorded, resulting in these wonderfully tender and emotive images. These fine art sessions have both soft light and deeper shadows within them which create rich and dramatic tones that meld together perfectly. Fine art portraits are the prefect way to tell a story.

How long does the session last?
Depending on your collection chosen, sessions last anything from 1 to 2 hours upwrads.
What to expect?
During the session I will be working with both natural light and studio light, and you will have guidance from me throughout the shoot. The session is completely customisable to you and therefore we will choose the clothing and colours before the shoot. You can either bring clothes in, or I have a collection of new and vintage clothing to choose from. We can incorporate props (or items that have special meaning to you) into some of the images as well to tell more of a story. The aim is to create soulful and intimate portraits to reflect your child's personality and uniqueness.

What happens after the session?
You will be invited back to the studio 3-4 weeks after your session for your viewing appointment. This is when you will see your beautifully edited images for the first time and it's one of my favourite parts ~ it's often very emotional and very special! I will have prepared the best images from your session and these will be digitally shown and this is where you will decide which collection you would like to choose, and whether you would like and more prints or even wall art.
